Crystal Brush 2016

I had a great time at Adepticon this year. The entries for the Crystal Brush were all stunning, and seeing what people can do will push me and my skills further in the coming year. I entered six pieces this year but only two made the final cut for online voting. In the end I walked away with a Gold Brush for best Dark Age miniature with my Archangel Michael, and a Bronze Brush in Sci-Fi Vehicle/Monster for my Infinity Squalos. I'm already looking forward to next year! Thank you all for the support and I look forward to seeing what projects you send me!

MFCA 2016

May 20-21 2016

I attended the Miniature Figure Collectors of America exhibition in King of Prussia, PA this year with six entries across two categories. I walked away with a bronze coin in the historical category, and a silver coin in the sci-fi/fantasy category. I was informed that it is extremely difficult to place in the historical category, so I am particularly pleased, especially since it was my first year in attendance.

Adepticon 2017

Another successful year! Some changes were made this year and instead of an actual Crystal Brush trophy we received pendants with colored ribbons for Gold, Silver and Bronze. This year I'm proud to have won Gold for Best Dark Age Figure.

Three coins this year, including a gold in the Fantasy Painter Category! I also got a Silver in Fantasy open and in Historical Painter, which is a pretty big deal I'm told. I'm looking forward to testing my skill at the 2017 World Expo in Chicago.
